As part of our Volunteer criteria, all applicants must complete the free online Ministry of Labour (MOL) Worker Health and Safety Awareness training and submit their Certificate of Completion with their application/resume. The link to access this training can be found at http://www.labour.gov.on.ca/english/hs/training/workers.php, under the "Access the eLearning Module". This training may be transferrable to other volunteer/employment.
Applicants must also complete the free Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Training to meet the requirements under Ontario's accessibility laws. The link to access this training can be found at www.accessforward.ca. All 6 Training Modules must be completed (General Requirements; Information and Communications Standard; Employment Standard; Design of Public Spaces Standard; transportation Standard; Customer Service Standard).
