What We Do
Community living is a natural part of life for most of us. We live in neighborhoods, send our children to local schools, work in jobs that contribute to society, and engage in everyday community life. These experiences give us a sense of belonging, purpose, and connection.
However, for many people with intellectual disabilities, this vision remains out of reach. Even though there has been progress over the years, many people with intellectual disabilities still live apart from others, either in group homes or on their own, with little chance to be part of the wider community.
