Black Tie | Silent Auction | Live Auction | 4-course meal | Open Bar | Diamond Fundraiser

Picture the extravagance, elegance and indulgence of the upper classes in the early 1920s.  Men in black tie and tails, women in bejewelled dresses; all sipping champagne, dining sumptuously, and mingling the night away. Add a tidal wave of excitement: an intimate performance by Jim Cuddy (lead singer of one of Canada’s most iconic bands, BLUE RODEO!)

Added excitement to the evening will be the unveiling of champagne flutes, each brimming with bubbly and cradling a sparkling stone – only one of which will be a genuine 1 Ct. Canadian diamond!

Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on a variety of exciting silent/live auction items with all proceeds directed straight back to the agency.

A special thank you to our sponsors!

Our partner for the event, G Mc's Fitness Homies with Extra Chromies' mission is to provide fun fitness, health and social opportunities for individuals with Down Syndrome. Co-founded by former pro hockey player turned fitness professional Blair Stayzer and real estate brokerage owner Kathy Ellis, this program is provided at completely no charge and most of the participants who attend are also served by CLSC. Participants learn to embrace, get excited about, and live a healthy and active lifestyle all while participating in fitness classes and community activities in a safe and inclusive manner. The potential for expansion is exponential. And the benefits are extraordinary. Individuals partaking in the activities learn social cues and mannerisms while others in the community learn appropriate and respectful ways to interact and engage with individuals with an intellectual disability.
